Assoc. Prof. DR. Celal ÇERÇİ
Dr. Celal Çerçi was born in 1966 in Karadeniz/Ereğli. After completing his primary, middle, and high school education there, he started his medical education at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1984. Beginning his career as a general practitioner in 1990, he continued in this field for four years. In 1994, he began specialization training at Süleyman Demirel University Faculty of Medicine and received the title of general surgeon in 1999. After working as a specialist for a while, he started working as an academician at Süleyman Demirel University Faculty of Medicine in 2003 and received the title of Associate Professor in 2009. Since 2009, he has received training in the field of obesity and metabolic surgery and has been performing relevant operations, especially in advanced laparoscopic surgery (laparoscopic hernia, laparoscopic bowel surgeries, laparoscopic gastric surgeries), and oncological surgery. Since 2009, he has successfully performed thousands of obesity surgeries, including, Sleeve Gastrectomy, Gastric Bypass, and revision surgeries, at Antalya Lara Life Hospital where he currently practices.
